Extraction Arms

Fabricating, finishing, and processing operations produce a variety of airborne contaminants. The dirty air that results can negatively impact productivity, facility, and equipment maintenance costs. To effectively remove particulate from the air, these operations require the most proficient collection method available—source-capture. So efficient, this method captures contaminants at the source and challenges conventional ambient air filtration systems.

Aercology's AEX Extraction Arms offer the ideal solution for source-capture. Aercology offers a variety of arm diameters and lengths. The 4", 6" and 7" balanced arms adjust effortlessly for precise positioning over work areas. Position the hood and pivot 180° either up, down, or side-to-side for maximum source collection. Manufactured with scratch resistant, baked enamel, arm ducts are lightweight and durable.

A damper in the vertical arm duct regulates airflow for efficient energy consumption. A special sealed rotary bearing swivel allows either arm to pivot 360° for maximum flexibility. Multiple arm lengths are available—from 7', 10', or 14' and a 14' boom extends arms to 24' or 28'. An optional in-hood light kit is available for increased operator visibility.

Aercology's 4" arms are ideal for collectors with small CFM requirements. Two arm lengths are available—choose from 7' and 10'. Applications utilizing 4" arms include solder fume or EDM machines with small Modular MediaFilter™ units, weld fume extraction with a CF Series Cartridge Collector, Electrostatic Precipitator, and grinding dust with a small Dust Collector.
